We are not a surfing club! The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network. Surfrider was founded in 1984 by surfers fighting for beach environments. At our SDSU chapter, our focus is to help build this ocean-loving community through social events, club collabs, and through events and beach cleanups held through the San Diego SF chapter.
